The practical guide
From “where do I start?” to your next post.
A short, useful walkthrough of the current Blynkx workspace. No publishing jargon, no need to guess what happens after you click.
Step 1
Connect your first social account
Open Social accounts in your workspace. Choose an available platform and follow its authorization steps. Use the profile or page you intend to publish to, and check whether it needs reconnecting before you plan a campaign.
Cannot see connection controls? Ask your workspace owner to connect the account or review your access.
Step 2
Write the message your audience will see
Open Create post and write your caption. Upload media or choose an existing library item. Select the destination accounts, then check the preview. Use account-specific customization when one message needs a different introduction or media selection.
Public hashtags belong in your caption. Organization labels help your team categorize posts; they are not published hashtags.
Step 3
Save work without publishing it
Save draft keeps the post for later. Find saved work under Posts → Drafts, then open it to continue editing. The internal post name helps your team find the post; on creation, leaving it blank uses the beginning of your caption.
The current composer requires a caption and at least one selected account to save a draft.
Step 4
Choose the right review and delivery action
If your role can publish, choose Publish now or Schedule for later. Publishing now asks for confirmation. If your role requires review, send the post for approval rather than trying to bypass that step.
Draft, awaiting approval, scheduled and published are different states. Saving or submitting for approval does not make a post live.
Step 5
Schedule with an explicit timezone
Choose a future date, an exact time and the timezone you mean. Shortcuts help you fill these values, but you still need to click Schedule post. Check the displayed selection before confirming, especially when working with people in different regions.
Some local times do not exist during daylight-saving changes. Choose another valid time if the composer reports this.
Step 6
Check what happened after sharing
Use the post report to inspect the publishing outcome. If a destination fails, read the reason and check account authorization and media requirements. Review available engagement data later; networks may expose different metrics or update them at different times.
When some accounts have already published, review those outcomes before retrying to avoid sharing the same message twice.
A final check before you publish
- Are the right accounts selected and connected?
- Does the caption make sense without internal context?
- Do you have permission to share the media and personal information it contains?
- Have you checked the date, timezone and required approval?
